시편Psalms  91:14-15하나님이 이르시되 그가 나를 사랑한즉 내가 그를 건지리라 그가 내 이름을 안즉 내가 그를 높이리라 그가 내게 간구하리니 내가 그에게 응답하리라 그들이 환난 당할 때에 내가 그와 함께 하여 그를 건지고 영화롭게 하리라

"Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

"기도는 아무것도 없었던 인생에 그분을 통해서 채워짐의 시작점이다.Prayer is the starting point of fulfillment through Him, in a life that once had nothing.

출애굽기 당시 이스라엘의 상황 

The Situation of Israel During the Exodus

1:8 요셉을 알지 못하는 새 왕이 일어나 애굽을 다스리더니 Then a new king, to whom Joseph meant nothing, came to power in Egypt.
1:11 감독들을 그들 위에 세우고 그들에게 무거운 짐을 지워 괴롭게 하여  So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor..

1:14 어려운 노동으로 그들의 생활을 괴롭게 하니...They made their lives bitter with harsh labor...

2:23 여러 해 후에 애굽 왕은 죽었고 이스라엘 자손은 고된 노동으로 말미암아 탄식하며 부르짖으니 그 고된 노동으로 말미암아 부르짖는 소리가 하나님께 상달된지라 During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God.

사사기Judges 2:10 그 세대의 사람도 다 그 조상들에게로 돌아갔고 그 후에 일어난 다른 세대는 여호와를 알지 못하며 여호와께서 이스라엘을 위하여 행하신 일도 알지 못하였더라 After that whole generation had been gathered to their ancestors, another generation grew up who knew neither the Lord nor what he had done for Israel.

그러나, 하나님은 기억하신다 / Yet, God Remembers 

이스라엘 백성은 하나님을 잊었지만, 하나님은 단 한 순간도 자기 백성을 잊지 않으셨습니다.Even though the people of Israel forgot God, God never for a single moment forgot His people.
