기도학교 11: 하나님이 원하시는 기도하는 공동체

 Prayer School 11: The Praying Community God Desires

성경 본문 / scripture: 출애굽기 (Exodus) 40:34-38

34 구름이 회막에 덮이고 여호와의 영광이 성막에 충만하매 35 모세가 회막에 들어갈 수 없었으니 이는 구름이 회막 위에 덮이고 여호와의 영광이 성막에 충만함이었으며 36 구름이 성막 위에서 떠오를 때에는 이스라엘 자손이 그 모든 행진하는 길에 앞으로 나아갔고 37 구름이 떠오르지 않을 때에는 떠오르는 날까지 나아가지 아니하였으며 38 낮에는 여호와의 구름이 성막 위에 있고 밤에는 불이 그 구름 가운데에 있음을 이스라엘의 온 족속이 그 모든 행진하는 길에서 그들의 눈으로 보았더라.

34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 35 Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 36 In all the journeys of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out; 37 but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out—until the day it lifted. 38 So the cloud of the Lord was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the Israelites during all their journeys. 

하나님께서는 성도가 개인의 연약함과 핑계, 쑥스러움을 넘어서 하나님이 기뻐하시는 '기도하는 공동체'로 함께 일어서기를 원하십니다. 출애굽기 40장의 성막 완성과 하나님의 임재 사건을 통해 우리가 지향해야 할 거룩한 공동체의 3가지 모습은 다음과 같습니다.

God desires for believers to step beyond individual weaknesses, excuses, and shyness to stand together as the "praying community" in which He delights. Through the completion of the tabernacle and the manifestation of God’s presence in Exodus 40, we see three characteristics of the holy community we are called to pursue:

1. 말씀으로 채워지는 공동체 (A Community Filled with the Word)

 출애굽 한 이스라엘 백성이 시내산에서 율법을 받음으로 하나님의 백성으로서의 기틀을 갖추었듯, 기도의 단단한 기초는 오직 '하나님의 말씀'이어야 합니다. 말씀 없는 체험이나 기적만을 좇는 공동체는 시련 앞에 무너지지만, 말씀에 기반한 기도는 흔들리지 않는 능력을 발휘합니다.

Just as the Israelites gained their foundation as God's people by receiving the Law at Mount Sinai after the Exodus, the solid foundation of prayer must always be "the Word of God." A community that pursues only experiences or miracles without the Word will collapse when facing trials, but prayer rooted in the Word demonstrates unshakable power.

2. 임재를 경험하는 공동체 (A Community Experiencing God's Presence)

기도는 한 사람의 진실한 결단에서 시작하여 공동체 전체로, 그리고 하나님의 강력한 임재로 확장됩니다. 성막을 가득 채운 여호와의 영광(출 40장), 솔로몬 성전의 구름(열왕기상 8장), 오순절 초대교회의 성령의 바람과 불(사도행전 2장)처럼, 하나님이 원하시는 공동체는 함께 모여 찬양하고 기도할 때 불평과 부인이 사라지고 성령의 임재에 압도되는 공동체입니다.

Prayer begins with the sincere decision of one person and expands to the entire community and into the powerful presence of God. Like the glory of the Lord filling the tabernacle (Exodus 40), the cloud in Solomon’s temple (1 Kings 8), and the wind and fire of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Acts 2), the community God desires is one where complaints and denials fade, and members are overwhelmed by the presence of the Holy Spirit as they gather to praise and pray.

  3. 삼겹줄의 은혜로 인도함받는 공동체 (A Community Guided by the Grace of a Threefold Cord)

 이스라엘이 구름 기둥과 불 기둥의 신호에 맞춰 행진하고 멈추었듯, 기도하는 공동체만이 하나님의 사인을 분별하며 나아갈 수 있습니다. 혼자서는 광야 같은 세상을 이기기 어렵지만, 성령 안에서 서로를 위해 기도하며 '세 겹줄'(전 4:12)로 묶일 때 낙심하지 않고 끝까지 승리할 수 있습니다.

Just as Israel marched and stopped according to the signals of the pillar of cloud and pillar of fire, only a praying community can discern God's direction. It is difficult to overcome a wilderness-like world alone, but when bound together in the Holy Spirit as a "threefold cord" (Ecclesiastes 4:12) praying for one another, we will not lose heart and will overcome to the end.

 소그룹 나눔 질문 (Small Group Discussion Questions)

 1. 오늘 설교에서 기도의 가장 중요한 기초는 '하나님의 말씀'이라고 나누었습니다. 최근 나의 기도 생활은 하나님의 말씀에 뿌리를 두고 있는지, 혹은 내 상황이나 감정에 더 치우쳐 있었는지 돌아보고 나눠봅시다.

Today’s sermon emphasized that the most essential foundation of prayer is "the Word of God." Reflecting on your recent prayer life, has it been rooted in God's Word, or has it leaned more toward your circumstances and emotions?

 2. 이스라엘 백성은 성막에 임한 하나님의 영광 앞에 불평을 그쳤고, 제자들은 성령 충만을 받은 후 주님을 담대히 전하는 자로 바뀌었습니다. 내가 하나님의 임재를 경험했을 때 삶의 입술(불평, 부인 등)이나 태도가 어떻게 변화되었는지 나누어봅시다.

The Israelites ceased their complaining before the glory of God in the tabernacle, and the disciples became bold witnesses after being filled with the Holy Spirit. Share how your words (complaints, denial, etc.) or attitudes were transformed when you experienced God's presence.

3."세 겹줄은 쉽게 끊어지지 아니하느니라"(전 4:12) 말씀처럼, 혼자 기도하기 힘들 때 공동체의 기도가 큰 힘이 되었던 경험이 있나요? 새로운 사역과 학기가 시작되는 8월을 맞아, 우리 소그룹이 서로를 위해 합심하여 기도해 줄 제목 한 가지씩을 나누고 함께 기도합시다.

As Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, "A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Have you experienced a time when the community's prayers gave you strength when praying alone was hard? As August begins with new ministries and academic terms, let us share one prayer request each for our small group to pray for together.

적용 / Application: 

매일 말씀으로 기도로 나가기(Ground Your Prayer in the Word Daily)

감정이나 상황에 따라 흔들리는 기도가 아니라, 매일 성경 읽기와 묵상(QT) 구절을 붙잡고 기도하는 습관을 집니다. 기도의 시작과 끝을 하나님의 약속의 말씀 위에 두어 굳건한 영적 기초를 세웁니다.

Establish a habit of praying with daily scripture readings and quiet time verses, rather than letting prayer be driven by emotions or circumstances. Anchor the beginning and end of your prayers in God’s promises to build a firm spiritual foundation.

불평 대신 찬양과 기도로 입술 파수꾼 세우기 (Transform Complaints into Praise and Prayer)

광야의 불평을 버리고 하나님의 임재를 경험한 자답게 입술의 언어를 바꿉니다. 염려나 불만이 생길 때 즉시 상황을 사람에게 불평하기보다, 그 자리를 하나님 앞에 나아가 기도하고 찬양하는 자리로 전환합니다.

Shift the language of your lips as one who has experienced God’s presence, leaving behind wilderness-like complaining. When worries or dissatisfaction arise, immediately turn those moments into times of praise and prayer before God rather than venting to others.

3.‘세 겹줄’ 중보기도 팀에 참여하고 동역하기 (Partner in a 'Threefold-Cord' Intercessory Prayer Group)

혼자 하는 기도의 한계를 인정하고, 쑥스러움이나 핑계를 넘어 소그룹 및 교회 기도회에 적극 참여합니다. 영적 동역자 2~3명과 마음을 모아 서로의 연약함을 기도받고 서로를 위해 중보하는 ‘삼겹줄 기도 공동체’를 이룹니다.

Acknowledge the limits of praying alone and overcome shyness or excuses by actively participating in small groups and church prayer meetings. Gather with two or three spiritual partners to form a "threefold-cord prayer community" that supports each other's weaknesses through intercession
