Prayer has the power to change our "lips" even before our circumstances change.

•  우리는 흔히 문제가 해결되면 그에 상응하는 거대한 헌신이나 비용을 대가로 지불해야 한다는 부담감을 가집니다. 하지만 십자가 사건과 출애굽이 증명하듯, 하나님이 원하시는 것은 대가가 아닙니다. 그저 하나님을 하나님으로 인정하고 그분의 이름을 높여드리는 순수한 찬양입니다.

•  We often feel burdened thinking that once a problem is resolved, we must pay a price through massive devotion or cost. However, as proven by the event of the Cross and the Exodus, what God desires is not a repayment. It is simply a pure praise that acknowledges God as God and exalts His holy name.

3. 하나님의 크심: 인생의 태산을 날리는 '주의 콧김'

(The Greatness of God: 'The Blast of His Nostrils' That Blows Away Mountains)

• 우리 앞의 홍해와 애굽 군대는 죽을 것 같은 공포이자 거대한 산처럼 보입니다. 그러나 온 우주의 창조주이신 하나님께는 그저 '콧김 한번 슥 불면' 끝나는 가벼운 문제일 뿐입니다. 기도는 우리의 한계와 계산을 초월하는 하나님의 위대하심을 바라보는 통로입니다.

•  To our eyes, the Red Sea and the Egyptian army look like a mountain of terrifying fear. Yet, to God, the Creator of the universe, it is a lightweight matter that is finished with just "a single blast of His nostrils (Ex. 15:10)." Prayer is a channel through which we look at the greatness of God, which entirely surpasses our human limitations and calculations.
